My love of ceramics goes back to my high school days. I was an avid potter and attended the Alternative High school for Art in University City Missouri. My first potters wheel was purchased at that time. I still have that wheel, and turned to it often to find my center and comfort.
My current creations are influenced by my lifetime in the Green Industry, as an Environmentalist and Entomologist. I use leaves and critters of all sorts in my work to express my empathy for our beleaguered earth.
I have made my bells, planters and wall hangings to grace indoor or outdoor spaces with their rugged, natural and whimsical feel.
